Understanding and Communicating AI in Sustainable Ag
The Washington State University (WSU) Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources (CSANR) recently launched a new online course: Understanding and Communicating Artificial Intelligence in Sustainable Agriculture.
This 11-video series helps agricultural professionals understand and explain how AI is affecting sustainable agriculture. The self-guided, asynchronous course consists of 11 training videos that can be viewed in any order. The full training is approximately 2.5 hours and can be completed at the viewer’s pace.

While the training is open to anyone interested in the intersection of agriculture and AI, it’s specifically tailored to empower agricultural outreach and education professionals, including Ag educators, Extension professionals, crop consultants, outreach specialists, and any Ag professional expected to engage audiences or provide guidance on AI-related topics.

Continuing Education Units Available
The course can also be taken for 0.3 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through Washington State University and the Extension Foundation for a $10 registration fee.
