ICICLE Webinar: AI-enabled Food Systems – Food Access Simulation and Modeling to Enhance Food Security

ABSTRACT: The webinar will introduce how to utilize AI and CI resources to increase national and regional food access and security through scalable

• food production-to-consumption flow modeling,
• agent-based food access simulation and planning,
• food logistics optimization, and
• privacy-preserving frameworks that enable secure food organization data sharing and integration. This ICICLE project will support decision-makers in community organizations, government, and nonprofit organizations in understanding food distribution across multiple geographic and organizational scales. This is possible through the combination of efforts by developing and deploying various AI/CI components.
