When did AI start?
This is but one of the questions Dr. Shayan Doroudi explores in his recent webinar hosted by AI-ALOE, “The Intertwined Histories of Artificial Intelligence and Education.”
There are deep connections between AI and education, starting from the earliest days of AI research. The webinar broaches a number of topics, from the impact of AI on education to the historical role of AI in shaping both learning and teaching. Dr. Doroudi discusses three approaches to AI, including the differences in the three methodologies for building AI and their educational philosophies.
